Clock Partners is a great way to quickly group or pair students up. First, to support English Language Learners and those students who need academic support place those students in the center of the clock and then place at or above grade level learners on the outside of the clock. Then finish with the at or above grade level learners in the middle of the clock and make sure that  their original partner is in the right spot.
